EaseMyTrip.com, India’s leading online travel technology platform, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Uttar Pradesh EcoTourism Development Board (UPETDB), a body under the Government of Uttar Pradesh responsible for promoting and managing tourism activities.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Uttar Pradesh’s Minister of Forest and Environment, Zoological Garden, Climate Change, Shri Arun Kumar Saxena, and Minister of Ayush, Food Security, and Drug Administration, Shri Dayashankar Mishra.

The objective of this MoU is to establish a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing the promotion and development of tourism in Uttar Pradesh. This collaboration will utilize EaseMyTrip’s extensive reach and technological expertise to showcase the diverse eco-tourism opportunities available in Uttar Pradesh.

The partnership between EaseMyTrip and Uttar Pradesh aims to promote homestays and eco-tourism across the state through various initiatives. EaseMyTrip will actively market registered homestays, launch promotional campaigns, and create educational materials about bird sanctuaries. They also plan to develop tourism packages highlighting lesser-known destinations, cultural experiences, and wildlife reserves like tiger reserves.

EaseMyTrip will leverage its online platform and social media channels to enhance visibility for these initiatives, supported by UPETDB. Mr. Rikant Pittie emphasized the state’s historical heritage and natural beauty as key attractions for travelers. Shri Jaiveer Singh, Minister of Tourism & Culture of Uttar Pradesh, highlighted the collaboration’s potential to boost tourism and position the state prominently on the tourist map.
