Kathmandu | New Delhi : Hero MotoCorp, the biggest maker of motorcycles and scooters in the world, has opened a new place in Nepal where they’ll put together their bikes. They’re working with their partner, CG Motors, to do this. They plan to make lots of bikes there and also create new jobs.
They’ve introduced four of their popular bikes and scooters: Xpulse 200 4V, Super Splendor, Splendor+, and Xoom 110. These will be put together at a new facility in CG Industrial Park in Nawalparasi.
The new place can make up to 75,000 bikes each year. CG Motors will also make more shops and places to fix bikes all over Nepal.
Sanjay Bhan, who works at Hero MotoCorp, said they’re excited about this project. They want to bring good bikes to people in Nepal and make sure they can buy them easily. They’re working hard with CG Motors to do this because Nepal is an important market for them.
Nirvana Chaudhary, Managing Director of Chaudhary Group, expressed his excitement about the opening of CG Motors’ assembly facility and the launch of new products. He mentioned that the expertise of Hero MotoCorp in manufacturing and business processes will help them grow. They aim to establish a strong presence throughout Nepal.
The new facility, located centrally in Nepal, will ensure quick availability of products across the country. CG Motors is also expanding its sales and service network to meet customer needs seamlessly. They have already opened a flagship showroom in Kathmandu and plan to have over 100 sales and service outlets in the next three months.
Hero MotoCorp entered Nepal in 2014 and has become a leading player in the country, especially with popular brands like SuperSplendor and Xpulse 200 motorcycles. Nepal holds significant importance for the company in Asia.
