Sahaj Solar Limited has announced that it has secured a significant order worth ₹63.50 crore from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). The contract has been awarded under the government-backed Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana under the PM KUSUM B Scheme, aimed at promoting solar-powered irrigation solutions across India.
The company has received a Letter of Empanelment along with execution confirmation for a rate contract and allocation of project quantity. The order involves the comprehensive execution of off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems across identified farmer locations in Maharashtra.
Under the scope of the contract, Sahaj Solar Limited will undertake design, manufacturing, supply, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar-powered water pumping systems. These systems will include capacities of 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP tailored for agricultural usage.
In addition to system deployment, the contract includes a five-year comprehensive maintenance package, covering repair services and Remote Monitoring Systems to ensure operational efficiency and performance tracking.
The execution timeline for the project is defined as completion within 60 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed for each work order. The overall project completion deadline is set for September 30, 2026.
The company clarified that the contract is domestic in nature and does not involve any related party transactions or promoter group interest.
