Today, Tata Communications announced a significant five-year global agreement to provide host broadcasting services for the World Athletics Series of events. Starting from 2025, Tata Communications will play a pivotal role as a strategic supplier for World Athletics, aiming to enhance innovation and increase audience engagement.

This partnership commences in a pivotal year for the sport, as 2025 features major events including the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Nanjing in March, the World Athletics Relays in Guangzhou in May, and the World Athletics Road Running Championships in San Diego in September, alongside the flagship World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.

The World Athletics Championships, scheduled for September 13-21, 2025, typically attracts a global audience of one billion viewers. Tata Communications aims to enable World Athletics to engage a worldwide fan base and establish enduring connections with the sport by enhancing the thrill and intensity of live global athletics competitions.

Tata Communications will provide top-tier live content for World Athletics events worldwide, enhancing viewer experience and extending the sport’s global reach. With a robust global media platform, Tata will support sustainability initiatives and inspire Indian athletes.
