India : Tata Power Solar Systems Limited (TPSSL), a prominent solar company in India and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), has revealed the renewal and broadening of its collaboration with Union Bank of India (UBI). This partnership aims to provide financing solutions for residential customers, aligning with the Government’s PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, as well as for commercial and industrial (C&I) customers.

Tata Power Solar Systems Limited (TPSSL), a significant player in India’s solar industry and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), has announced the renewal and expansion of its partnership with Union Bank of India (UBI). This collaboration is geared towards offering financing solutions for residential customers, in accordance with the Government’s PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, as well as for commercial and industrial (C&I) customers.

Mr. Deepesh Nanda, CEO & Managing Director of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, expressed, “We are pleased to announce the continuation of our partnership with Union Bank of India, now extending to include residential consumers in our solar financing program. We believe that providing easy access to financing will encourage the widespread adoption of rooftop solar among residential customers nationwide, mirroring the success observed in our initial phase of collaboration with the commercial and industrial segment.”
