Oswal Pumps Limited has secured a significant renewable energy contract valued at approximately ₹119.92 crore under the Government of India’s PM-KUSUM Component-B scheme. The order has been awarded by Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited and covers the entire state of Karnataka.

The project involves the design, manufacture, supply, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of 3,263 solar-powered agricultural pump sets. This includes 214 surface solar pumps and 3,049 submersible solar pump sets with capacities of 3 HP, 5 HP, 7.5 HP, and 10 HP, to be deployed at identified farmers’ locations across the state.

As part of the contract, Oswal Pumps will also provide a complete system warranty, remote monitoring system integration, and repair and maintenance services for a period of five years. Installation and commissioning activities are scheduled to be completed in line with Ministry of New and Renewable Energy guidelines, on or before March 31, 2026.

The order is entirely domestic in nature and does not fall under related-party transactions. No promoter or group entity has any interest in the awarding authority. The contract is expected to strengthen Oswal Pumps’ presence in Karnataka and expand its footprint in large-scale public sector renewable energy projects.

The development aligns with India’s broader push to promote solar-powered irrigation solutions, reduce dependence on conventional energy sources, and support sustainable agricultural practices. For Oswal Pumps, the order represents a major milestone in executing state-wide solar pump deployments under national renewable energy programs.
