Concord Control Systems Limited has secured a ₹53.73 crore order related to the deployment of KAVACH 4.0, India’s indigenous Automatic Train Protection system, through its associate company Progota India Private Limited. The contract has been awarded by Indian Railways and strengthens the company’s growing participation in railway safety modernization initiatives.

The project includes the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of onboard KAVACH 4.0 equipment designed to prevent train collisions, control excessive speed, and eliminate signal passing at danger incidents. The execution period for the order is scheduled to be completed within 12 months, supporting the broader national push toward safer rail operations.

Company management stated that the order reflects continued confidence in Concord Control Systems’ technological capabilities and execution strength. The deployment of KAVACH technology is a key component of India’s railway modernization strategy under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative, which promotes indigenous innovation and localized manufacturing.

The latest contract adds to Concord Control Systems’ expanding order book in railway safety solutions. In September 2025, the company secured a ₹19.45 crore field order from South Central Railway, marking an early large-scale deployment of its in-house developed safety technology. This was followed by a ₹185.09 crore contract in early February 2026 for onboard locomotive equipment, further strengthening its role in nationwide KAVACH implementation.

Progota India Private Limited, in which Concord holds a significant stake, has received approvals from the Research Designs and Standards Organisation, enabling wider deployment of the system across Indian Railways. The continued rollout of KAVACH is expected to accelerate adoption of advanced train protection systems across major rail corridors.
